Using Silverlight in ASP.NET
John Bowen

Silverlight provides a new model for web application development, but to take advantage of it you don't need to throw out your existing web application and start from scratch. Integrating small Silverlight applications into existing pages can let you ease into Silverlight and lower risk to your application development. We'll look at some ways to add Silverlight into an ASP.NET application, starting by using Silverlight 2 to interact with the HTML DOM and Javascript to provide new capabilities on the client side. We will then move over to the server side and look at the upcoming .NET RIA Services capabilities that will be available with Silverlight 3 which can simplify the communication layer between server and client.
